Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance – Tasks include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, headlight/taillight installations, etc.....
Perform advanced diagnostic/testing procedures – Includes extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
Perform repairs - Focus on repairing it right the first time
PMI/Digital Inspections - Providing vehicle service recommendations to a professional service adviser for estimating and approvals
Manage paperwork – Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Participate in an apprentice program to “lend a hand” to growing technicians.
Help represent All-Star Automotives brand at events & digital platforms.
Assist Management and help around the store.
Requirements:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Driver's license with less than three violations in three years (Required)
● 5+ years of service technician experience
● Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
● Willingness to participate in in-house training
● Ability to operate all auto repair tools
● Excellent listening and communication skills
Preferred License/Certification:
State Vehicle Inspection License (Must be able to obtain within 60 days of employment)
Willing to get ASE Certification (A Plus if already obtained)
